Fibr AI Debuts Agent Experience Optimization to Bridge the Gap Between Websites and AI Agents
In an evolving digital landscape where artificial intelligence increasingly dictates how consumers discover and interact with brands, Fibr AI has introduced a new capability designed to shift the focus of search strategy back to the primary source: the brand’s own website. The Accel-backed platform recently launched Agent Experience Optimization (AXO), a solution engineered to transform corporate websites into hubs for AI visibility and direct agent-led action.
As AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini shift their sourcing patterns, the reliance on third-party aggregators and listicles is waning. Recent industry data suggests a marked decline in citations from community-driven platforms, with a corresponding surge in direct traffic to manufacturer and brand-owned product pages. Fibr AI’s new offering aims to capitalize on this trend by ensuring that when an AI agent scans a site, it encounters content that is not only readable but also optimized for retrieval and task execution.
The core functionality of AXO lies in its ability to detect the specific AI agent visiting a webpage and dynamically adapt the structure and depth of the content for that visitor. Rather than requiring marketing teams to manually rewrite pages or produce a surplus of new articles, the platform adjusts existing site assets to align with the specific needs of various AI models. This ensures that brand messaging remains consistent, accurate, and compliant with internal review standards while simultaneously improving the likelihood of a brand being cited in AI-generated recommendations.
Beyond mere visibility, AXO addresses the growing demand for “agentic” web experiences—where AI assistants are empowered to perform tasks on behalf of users. By making websites “agent-ready,” the platform enables AI to interact with site functionalities, such as submitting applications or completing purchases, directly within the user’s flow. According to Ankur (AJ) Goyal, CEO and co-founder of Fibr AI, the goal is to provide brands with control over how they are discovered and recommended, moving away from a reliance on the unpredictable nature of third-party AI sourcing.
The launch of AXO integrates directly into Fibr’s existing Experience Optimization Platform, which previously focused on Human Experience Optimization (HXO). By unifying these two functions, Fibr AI aims to provide a single interface for managing interactions with both human visitors and AI agents. This dual-audience approach allows brands to maintain a consistent narrative across all touchpoints, whether the visitor is a prospective customer browsing a site or an AI agent parsing data to fulfill a consumer request.
Early internal testing conducted by the company suggests that this optimization strategy yields measurable results. During a six-week trial period, Fibr AI deployed AXO across 102 pages on its own corporate website. The company reported that daily AI citations for those pages nearly tripled, rising from an average of 41 to 114 within the first week of October 2026. This data underscores a potential shift in how organizations should approach technical SEO and content strategy as AI-driven discovery becomes the standard for consumer decision-making.
